Learners invited to Career Fair
2016.03.10

Ritja Career Fair is host its 5th Career Fair at the Habitat Research and Development Centre in Katutura on Saturday.
Organiser Mericah Tjikundurura says the fair is an annual event that provides clear career path guidance to students, learners and the public at large.

“We have hosted the fair in different regions of the country and plan to go to all of them in future,” says Tjikundurura, adding that various learners from the regions of Omaheke, Hardap and Khomas will be attending. Motivational speakers from different sectors will be talking to the learners.

“We have sent out invitations to different schools, but all the learners are welcome to attend even though their schools did not receive invitations,” Tjikundurura advised.

Institutions, such as Namibian University of Science and Technology (NUST), the University of Namibian (UNAM), Erongo Red, Ministry of Fisheries, Okakarara Vocational Training Centre (OVTC) and MVA Fund are expected to exhibit at the Career Fair.

It will start at 09h00 until 14h00 on Saturday. Public and educational institutions are also invited. More information on the career fair can be obtained from Tjikundurura by calling her on 081-2236225.
